Boujee Style – Broke People

If you are anything like me, you definitely understand the struggle that is wanting your outfit to look like a million bucks but only having $200 in your bank account. Fear not! I am known as the queen of finding cheaper alternatives that look similar – if not identical – to high-end couture pieces that won’t make you want to sell your dog for a pair of Saint Laurent boots. I have listed a few items that are in ATM (and I know this since a lot of the super models are sporting these items on Instagram) at an affordable price.

 

 Floral Boots: Balenciaga vs. Ego Boots

The first image is the real deal (Balenciaga) at $615.00 CAD. The two boots in the second image are from EGO shoes and cost a mere $64.00 CAD.

Black and white striped teared-down sweater:  Mike Amiri vs. ZARA

Mike Amiri knitwear (also worn by Kendall Jenner) at $970.60 CAD and ZARA’s at $45.90 CAD. These sweaters aren’t identical to one another but they’re similar enough. They both have the worn-out look – with holes and tares – only difference is that the ZARA one has an off-white instead of crisp white and it fits a little looser/doesn’t have a bare shoulder. Kendall Jenner cut hers to make it crop – because why wouldn’t she with that body?

Patent Boots: Gianvito Rossi vs. ALDO

Fur Loafers: Gucci vs. EGO

The Gucci loafers are displayed in the first picture and cost $1,015 CAD versus EGO loafers at $50.99 CAD. Obviously there’s a bit of a difference since you can notice the quality between Gucci and basically anything else. The most noticeable difference I think would be the fur because well… Gucci. But other than that I think that the EGO loafers do the trick for MUCH less and since these trends are usually over in the blink of an eye it is better to look good for less.
